In fact, he's trying to hold both glasses up and away from his husband so they don't make a mess where just cleaned. He deepens the kiss quickly. Not too much. Despite their son not knowing the difference one way or the other, he will never be comfortable with being too affectionate in front of him. But, the kiss is still deepened. Enough to be a distraction, most definitely. As he pulls away, he presses a much lighter kiss right after. ]
